Can I Delete Hidden Space Mac Daisydisk

Jan 17, 2018 The Complete DaisyDisk App Review. The lack of the computers free space can often become a real headache for Mac owners with SSD-drives of 128 GB, 256 GB or 512 GB. Of course, if you need some extra free gigabytes of space, you can start deleting unnecessary files on your own. Gigabytes of disk space shown as hidden space in DaisyDisk. My disk space usage doesn't add up. I should have used only about 80 gigabytes, but according to DaisyDisk about 25 gigabytes is taken up by hidden space. The mystery disk space seems to be classified as other in the About This Mac window. DaisyDisk will automatically refresh (without rescanning) the numbers or hidden and purgeable space after the system updates them globally. Also, just after you delete the purgeable space, you may temporarily see the hidden space being “borrowed” by the corresponding amount.

Fantastic tool

It's one on the excamples when great idea makes great software. It is the best tool that helps to find and clean data storaged on your hard drive. I miss only one thing. There should be possibility to select multiple objects to drag them for delete. Maybe some checkbox on the left side of element to delete?

hidden disk space

I had problem with hidden disk space, I tried different app, also his support and they can’t help me. I bought DaisyDisk and I solved problem in 5 minutes but I needed download stand alone version from their website (free when you bought on app store). I recommend this App!!
